We welcome e-mail and telephone inquiries requesting more details
about instruments described on our web site and about our pricing.
You will find our prices on new instruments to be very competitive,
and our prices on used and vintage instruments to be very reasonable.
If you search long and hard enough, you will likely find a cheaper
price, but the temporary reward of the cheapest price fades sooner
than the sting of poor quality, misleading advice, or bad service.
Pioneer's philosophy of business involves a commitment on
our part to help customers on a one-to-one basis, whether they
are visiting our store or contacting us by phone or e-mail. We are not a mass marketing warehouse, on-line business. All
prices listed on our web site are our selling prices (no "wiggle
room"). E-mails with a "give me your best price"
message will be cheerfully ignored in favor of folks needing
our personal attention. (Items with a "Please Inquire"
pricing note are either premium instruments that warrant a discussion
about price, items from manufacturers that have rules about
Internet pricing, or items on order that have yet to be priced.
Our small retail store is a service-oriented, quality-minded
organization. Buying from Pioneer involves an interaction with
experienced personnel pledged to customer satisfaction before
and after the sale. It's my hope that our on-line customer will
discover the qualities that make Pioneer Music a special place
to do business, just as the locals have. K.C. Wait
